If I send a email with an attachement, the recipient receives the email 3 to
10 times. The message stays in the outbox, given me an error.

Sometimes my mailer displayed the pointer ``See
http://pobox.com/~djb/docs/smtplf.html

This issue is often caused by having a virus scanner installed which
integrates with Outlook.
Disable/uninstall this integration and try again.
