With most barcode scanners you can find the programing manual and add the prefixes and suffixes that you would need to accomplish this. I you are just trying to enter the information into cells then all you should need is a carriage return suffix. This will add the info from the barcode and move down to the next cell. Most scan guns this is the default setting. It would probably be best to use the scanner in a keyboard emulation mode. That way if you can write the vba to handle the task with a keyboard entering the data, the scanning would work the exact same way. Hope that helps, if you hadn't solved the issue already.
