Thanks for any help. What is the best way to turn the banner on my home page into a link back to my home page from other pages? I have tried (insert hyperlink), but this leaves my text banner underlined. Thanks again.

Set the style of the hyperlink to text-decoration:none

As general advice, you should use a graphic anyway. Windows does a
lousy job of text display (no anti-alising). Draw something in a
drawing program and you will get much, much better quality.

What version of Windows are you referring to? What hardware? My Windows does
a fine job of rendering text on the screen. And does every browser out there
run on Windows? And don't images consume a lot more bandwidth than text?
