Does anyone know of a freeware learning banner ad blocker for Netscape similar

I don't use this, so I don't know for sure if it learns, but MyIE2 is
liked by some in this group:

Personally, I still use WebWasher® Classic and it works perfectly for me:

It doesn't learn, but then again, the way it removes ads, it doesn't
need to. When a rare ad slips through, I can set up a block using the
built in capabilities of Mozilla and an extention called "Nuke
Anything" which is for Mozilla only. But since you're using IE, you'd
need to find something else.

The OP is looking for a *Netscape* ad blocker.

I'm almost certain that you can use the Mozilla extension Adblock in
Netscape 7.x.

Adblock is a content-blocking module for the Mozilla and Firebird browsers.
It is both more robust and more precise than the built-in image blocker.

Once installed it's a snap to filter elements at their source-address. Just
right-click: Adblock: done. Filters use either the wildcard character (*) or
full Regular Expression syntax. A list pane shows at-a-glance what has or
hasn't been blocked. Scripts, backgrounds, even Flash &emdash; anything can
be caught. Plugin-media sport floating tabs for one-click filtering. A
special shortcut quick-hides any element on the page. And, if an ethical
urge should overwhelm, just tap the keys and Adblock toggles off -- it's
that easy.

- Make sure software installation is checked in Netscape options.
- Download the adblock.xpi file to your hard drive.
- Open Netscape and click file > open and choose the adblock.xpi file. It
should then prompt you to install.
