I am sure that this has been asked and answered many times, but no matter
what I can't get it right.

How do you get balloon tips from the taskbar to show up ON TOP OF the
taskbar and NOT behind it.?

Sometimes it will come good and sometimes it won't. There seems to be no
pattern to it.

It's a well known bug in XP. There are a variety of ways to rectify it,
until it happens again. The easiest seems to be go to Start | All Programs,
right click and sort by name. Another way is log out, then login.

Hello,

This is a confirmed bug (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/912650) in Windows
XP. A workaround is to hover your mouse over the Start button and then to
the system tray. Another workaround is to click on Start > Programs >
(right-click) > Sort By Name. Yet another is to click on Start > Turn Off >
Cancel. But these sometimes don't work. Microsoft recommends logging off or
restarting the PC to fix this problem.
