After the latest installation of my windows XP, the balloon tips in my
system tray seem to be disabled. Could anybody tell me how to enable these?

Hi,

The balloon tips can enabled and disabled using Tweakui. Install Tweakui
and go to
Task and Start menu, then uncheck Enable balloon tips.

Microsoft PowerToys - Tweakui for WinXP: Ver. 2.10 requires WinXP SP1
and later
http://www.microsoft.com/WINDOWSXP/h.../powertoys.asp

TweakUI can be accessed from Start - All Programs - Powertoys for
Windows XP

That should be UNCHECK to disable and CHECK to enable Balloon tips.

Is it possible to alter the time the balloon tips stay on the screen,
there doesn't seem to be an option in tweak ui.
