I have Word 2000 and want to review a document using the balloon view in the
margin of my document? How do I do this? I can't find that feature in my
version and I don't like the comment being displayed when my mouse hovers
over the highlighted text.

Balloons were introduced in Word 2002; you can't get them in Word 2000.
