What sort of Video - DVD? DivX, AVI and what are you plaing them on
WMP10, Real Player, Intervideo?

Can you hear the sound but the video is not visible?

Try downloading and installing a Codec Pack from here

http://www.free-codecs.com/download/...Codec_Pack.htm

I'm using WMP10 and I hear sound just fine and I can see the video but its
just bright blue and you can't make out any detail because its so bright.
I tried reinstalling WMP10 but it didn't help.

Assuming your source video plays OK on other machines

Try this,

Startup WMP

Make sure you can see the standard Windows menu bar across the top of
the screen - file view edit tools etc

You need go to view>enhancements>video settings then the video
settings should show up at the bottom of the screen, pull up the grab
handle to see all of the settings. Try adjusting them see if it makes
any difference. If no good then reset the video settings to standard
then go to this site

http://home.hccnet.nl/h.edskes/finalbuilds.htm#klcodec

Get the K-Lite Standard Codec Pack > Download and Install. When
installing you don't need the video players it just the codecs watch
the options when installing.

Try yer video again

Hi,
I've had the same problem and found that I had to reinstall the video
driver to solve the problem. Some how they got corrupted.
Give it a try!
