bad sound driver

's Computer Specifications

my pc suddenly can't make any sound
when I play a song, it said " bad direct SOund driver. Please install proper
drivers or select another device in configuration.

I went to the control panel and checked my audio device, it said it is not
running properly.

what's wrong? how to fix it?

1) Identify the make of sound card

2) Go to the manufacturer's website

3) Download the Xp specific drivers

4) Delete any references to your old drivers

5) Install the new drivers you downloaded
