somehow I have a bad profile in my outlook and can't delete it.

it has ???? and squares and everytime i try to delete from the control panel
it says it has invalid characters and can't delete.
in control panel both the bad profile and the good one are listed but if i
print and envelope from word the bad profile is the only one that shows. the
good profile is not listed in the drop down box. ????

any ideas?

If you're willing to edit the registry you can delete it with regedit. The
path is under
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows
Messaging Subsystem\Profiles. I'd export that key before changing it,
however.
