When I am capturing my video (from a Panasonic, through an S-video and audio
cord) the preview picture is nice and clear and crisp. When I capture just
short 30 sec-1 min video streams it stays clear. But every time I've tried
to capture over 5 mins then the video pixeling becomes bad. When my daughter
moved her hand you see the old had for 3 seconds still, or blinks her eyes
even. THe general coloring is off too, extreme black is white. But after
about 3 seconds it's clear again, then starts little by little holding on to
some of the previous frame and after 3 seconds it's gone again. This is
without any effects added. And each time I play it back the problems are
exactally the same, not change at all. So somehow it's gotten saved that
way. So some of the pixels are choppy, but the basic movement is still
fluid. Any suggestions?

If your Panasonic has a Firewire
IEEE 1394 connection try using that.

It's not a digital camcorder, it's VHS-C, so there is no Firewall. My
comuter is a Dell with XP, Media Center Edition with SP2. I was wondering if
the Capture was just too long? Before I added Audio it was clear? Or is it
just that I had to rewind and play my tape so many times to get the whole
thing to work?
