Can anyone help please?

I keep getting this message when I try to publish new and changed pages.

'Bad Parameter passed to Web Server Extensions. Check the information you
entered and try again.'

Can someone explain in simple terms what I need to do and how I did it so I
do not do it again!

Many thanks in advance,
Helen

Contact your web host and ask them to run a server health check and let FP correct the permissions,
etc.

I have done this and they said everything is fine. I'm still none the
wiser!

But have they run the server health check?

Can you open the live/remote site directly in FP via File Menu | Open Site / Web ?

This is worrying - they said they'd never heard of a health check! It does
appear that I have files in different folders that aren't matched up so that
could be the problem.

I can't open site name when in open site but they said if it opens in IE
then its ok.

I'm hosted by 123-reg. Are they a reliable host? Has anyone had these
problems before with them?

I will change my files and see what happens next!

So, you did specifically ask them to run a server health check and let FP
correct the permissions?

If a host that supports FP server extensions has never heard of a health
check, I personally would not call them very reliable.

You can refer them to this page:
