My network works but how do I utilise the 10/100mbps
network running in my house. At the moment I am getting
about 250kbps which is not enough for my needs. I am
using good quality cables and the network cards are
installed correctly. I do use a switch instead of a hub
but the network is still too slow.
I am using Windows XP SP1 and my machines are two 2.4s.

If you have a soulution please reply via my email.

250 Kb/s doing what? Downloads through a DSL modem? Uploads
through a broadband modem? File copying across your LAN using
Explorer ^C and ^V to mapped net.drives? Or what?

As for email: no. If you ask in a NG, the answer will be in
that NG.

The "Reply to my email" part was because I check my mail

And my "no" part was because NGs are intended to supply help/info
to lots of folks, not to individuals. So many of us only supply
answers in the NG, and decline to send answers to email addresses.
