HP M390N Media Center. 3.2 gH P4 512 pc3200 ddr ram. I installed a 1gB chip
of off brand memory bought on eBay and it was recognized a total of 1.5 gB.
The computer ran fine for a couple of months. I started getting random
shutdowns and since my scans showed it was clean of virus' and spyware, I
started to consider faulty memory. I ran the installed PC Doctor program and
it threw a failure code (me516-1). I then partially ran Windows Memory
Diagnostics and got some failures. Specifically: LRAND, WMATS+ and WINVC.
Can someone here give me a little insight?....TIA.
