After signing into Windows, 3 boxes appear: 1) CTSyncU.exe-Unable to Locate
Component (This application has failed to start because CTIntrfu.dll was not
found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.), 2) BackWeb Error
(Cannot start Updates from HP. BWFiles.dll not found or invalid.), and 3) New
Hardware Found. The malfunctions I have noticed are no audio, iTunes is
inoperable, Word Docs can not be downloaded from emails, and Media Player can
not be played (this message appears- “Windows Media Player cannot play the
file because there is a problem with your sound device. There might not be a
sound device installed on your computer, it might be in use by another
program, or it might not be functioning properly.”). In addition to all of
this, restoral to an earlier time does not work. I tried a registry repair
software with no improvement. Please share your thoughts on what the problem
could be.
