Hey folks,

I am considering buying myself a battery back-up for my desktop ever
since the power issues of late. However, I always use suspend mode (S3 or
suspend to RAM) at night because I like being able to wake my system in less
than 10 seconds in the morning. Does anyone know of a USB-only back-up
battery/system that is capable of waking a desktop while it is in suspend
mode in the event of a power failure and then promptly putting the desktop
into hibernate mode (S4 or suspend to disk)? I have tried shopping around
and sending emails off to battery back-up manufacturers but have received
nothing but "dunno". Seems my request is a little too technical. The battery
back-up has to be USB because I do not have a serial connection on my
motherboard.

Thanks for any advice,

Dave
