Backup WinNT system disk to a disk drive

The backup utility with my version of WinNT (4.0, SP6)
will not run because I don't have a tape drive (!?!). What
if I want to back up the system disk to another hard
drive? Is there a way to do this without purchasing Norton
Ghost or other 3rd party backup utility?

BTW, all the links I try to follow on the Microsoft web
site to get to NT support/communities/etc ultimately take
me to Win2000 pages - why is that? Is NT 4.0 considered a
variant of Win2000?

Windows NT is at the end of its product lifecycle.

The version of NTBackup included with Windows NT Server 4.0 and Windows NT
Workstation 4.0 do not support backing up to a file. You may wish to post
to the microsoft.public.windowsnt.* groups for questions about windows NT.

If you don't want to spend any money then you must expend
some time: Install your WinNT disk as a slave disk in some
Win2000 PC, then use xcopy.exe with the appropriate
switches to copy the WinNT stuff to some storage area.
