backup to usb drive?

I could do with a backup freeware that detects when a specific device is
connected to the system (I have a USB Harddrive) and then offers to back up
to that device.
Anybody know of such a beastie?

Syncback will nearly do that. ie Scheduling.

I think TaskZIP and Back2zip will do that automatically without
bothering you. Here's a bunch of freeware data backup tools:
