Hi, I'm currently using Window XP Home Edition, which was
already installed in my laptop when I bought it. I want to
install the backup option but I don't know how to do it.
I've visited the Microsoft website, which told me that I
could install backup from the Window XP setup CD. I don't
think I have this CD. All I have is the 4 recovery CD that
came together with my laptop. are these the CD they're
talking about? Can I use them to install Backup? How Can I
do that?

Please reply. I really need to backup all of my files.

Thank you,
Karen

Karen;
Search the CDs and the hard drive for "ntbackup"
Since your computer is OEM, you may or may not have it.
In that case if you need a back-up utility, you will need to get a 3rd
party application.
