Hi All: Using FP02 and win xp pro.
Purchased FP upgrade03 and did not come with proceedure to install.
Also searched the help for backup and nothing.
Any advise on how to backup a web or proper precautions on upgrading?
Thanks, Ed

Use your usual procedure to backup, publish/copy the web(s)/folder(s) to an
external storage device or another HDD or partition.

There's nothing particular to look out for in installing FP2003, just stick
the disk in and let it do its work.

One thing to note - you must have a qualifying product to upgrade to FP2003
(normally this would be a previous version of FP e.g. 98/2000/2002). If you
have your previous FP still installed, it will actually uninstall the
previous Frontpage, otherwise it will prompt you to insert the previous
version installation disk.

Once it is installed, restore your backed up web files.

Start Frontpage, activate if need be, then File > Open > Site to open the
site you just backed up.

Installing, upgrading or uninstalling any version of FP, has no impact on the web sites created with
FP.

The best option is to publish the web to a remote server that has the FP extensions.
