Trying to create automated system recovery disk using the
wizard on XP home (installed ntbackup from winxp home cd)
Get the following error msg
"Backup Status
Operation: Backup
Active backup destination: File
Media name: "Backup.bkf created 6/21/2004 at 6:09 PM"

Backup Status
The files for the recovery diskette could not be created.
The operation was aborted."

Any help greatly appreciated

Hi

ASR will only work XP Pro - not XP Home. There is a small 'readme' file on
the CD - in the folder as ntbackup.msi. Have a look at that.

ASR is not a feature in Windows XP Home.
The Read Me file in the associated file explained this.
