Hi Jonathan,
No need to backup really (if you want to though, go into Control Panel,
Mail, Data Files and back up the files specified there). If something
goes wrong, you can still get to your data with Outlook 2003 (and
depending on when your PST file was created, even with Outlook as far
back as 97).
You have to remove WDS for sure, and install the release version.
