Make sure that in Windows Explorer you're allowing the viewing of Hidden
files & folders.

Hi bill247,

your Outlook version is?

"How to manage .pst files in Outlook 2002 and in Outlook 2003"
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/287070/en-us

(as special the part "How to make a backup)

"Back up Outlook data with the Microsoft Outlook Personal Folders Backup
tool"
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/ou...CH100788841033

Maybe it helps.
