Hello everyone,

I just bought a new Compaq Centrino x1000 with XP home addition
I want to back every in the hard drive (image it)

I have Norton.Ghost.2003 when I bought it I made an image to my
desktop NTFS and I had to make FAT32 partition in my second hard drive
in order to use the boot dick I made unfortunately when after some
time when I try to put the image I made every thing went ok but when I
try to boot from the OS it did not I put the XP CD and went to reparse
and then FIXMBR then FIXBOOT but it did not work and I had to
reinstall windows

I don't want this to happen know

I want to make a good image wither in a CD or in a partition in I'll
me in the notebook .

I want to make a new boot desk which one shall I chose
1-Network Boot Disk
2-Drive Mapping Boot Disk
3-Boot Disk with CD-R/RW, LPT, and USB Support
3-CD-ROM Boot Disk
4-TCP/IP Network Boot Image

I think if I want to use a CDI chose # 3 but does it make exact image
of every thing in the notebook.

Please I want someone to give me a step by step info in how to back up
and how to restore it.

And if I want to make a boot dick which option shall I chose.

I don't want to make any mistake this time

I really appreciate it guys
