Backup: THE most useless feature in Windows to date...

I mean, really, I can't figure out the logic of this "feature" at all. How
can you give me a personal documents space under the Users folder, yet only
back up certain files there. If I save an install exe/msi from an online
software purchase, it doesn't get backed up if I put it there (or anywhere
else). Wouldn't you think that if I put a file in that folder, I'd want to
keep it? On the flip side, it backs up EVERY single image file in every
folder on the hard drive. Why do I need to back up the example icons
installed with Visual Studio? If I lose them, I can just "repair" the
program. I'm sorry, but your logic just totally escapes me.

And don't even get me started on User Control <groan>
