I am trying to design a form from which a user can backup an mdb file to a
default location by clicking a command button. Can anybody give me some help
on the code to perform such an opperation?
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
you can use either a FileCopy, to make a copy, or CompactDatabase method to
make a copy and compact it
