Hello,

I am running Win2k Server, standalone (not in a domain) and have several
local user accounts on the box. Is there a way to backup the local user
account & groups (without imaging the box) keeping the passwords intact so if
something happens to the server I can restore the local user accounts &
groups to another fresh install Win2k Server standalone box?

Thank you.

you can do that by backing up system state using the Backup toll that cames
with Windows.

Hello Andrei,

Just curious, is there a way to backup only the local users and group
accounts or the only option is to take the entire system state? Backuping up
the System State worked though, thanks again.
