Greetings! I am using Outlook 2003. I have had the Outlook backup
addin installed until recently. When booting up one day several weeks
ago, the computer mysteriously had trouble booting up and, according
to the message that I got, returned to an earlier registry to boot up.
My IT folks at work are trying to diagnose and remedy that. In the
meantime, the backup addin is no longer listed within Outlook's Addin
list, nor is it listed in Add/Remove programs. I have downloaded a
fresh copy and tried to install it several times. Each time I get a
message saying that I must uninstall the previous version because this
fresh version can be installed. The problem, as I said above, is that
the backup doesn't appear in either the Addin list nor the Add/Remove
programs; therefore, I can't find anything to uninstall. So ... I'm
stuck between a rock and a hard place. I would really appreciate any
help that you can provide. Thank you!
