I have installed the pfbackup program for Outlook 2002
using Windows XP. It seemed to load okay however
the "backup" prompt is not shown under the file menu. I
have tried 'uninstalling' and reinstalling to no avail.
Any ideas? Thanks.

The Backup Addin is shown in OL Addins?
The add-in may not be registered correctly. So, try registering the dll with

the following steps.

1. Exit Outlook.

2. On the Start menu click Run

3. In the Open box type the following and click OK.

regsvr32 "c:\program files\microsoft office\office\addins\outbak.dll"

NOTE: You may need to adjust the above path to Outbak.dll to match the

location on your computer.

4. After running the command line start Outlook.

- The above frm an earlier post -
