I seldom use safe mode because it causes my normal desktop layout to reset. I have a wide screen
LCD display running in vertical mode and keep all my icons on the left side with the start & task
bar on the right. After I run safe mode for any reason my desktop is changed upon restarting to
normal windows, The start and task bar are still on the right but the icons are all over and
separated by about one inch. Is there anyway to backup and restore my normal desktop other than
setting a restore point every time?
