Backup Dell Safe D Drive Norton Ghost 10

's Computer Specifications

I have Windows XP
Dell Dim E510
C is my hard drive
D is backup

It is my understanding that I should do disk cleanup, scan disk and disk
defrag on my C drive
but
I should not do disk cleanup on D (it would erase the disk)
I should do Scan disk
and Disk Defrag.

Is this correct

Disk Cleanup will not erase your disk..
