Backup and Restore - Vista Business

Sorry if this is the wrong group but....

I am doing a weekly incremental backup of my drive to a second 320 GB drive
on my computer. When the backup drive is full (or nearly so) can I just
delete all files, do a full backup, and then just resume the incremental
backups?
