Hi,

When I scheduled a backup job and try to run it, it gives
me the following error. Any help will be appreciated...

"Skipped files in "NT\NTBackup\data\name of backup
job.bks" folder. Folder not found.
The operation was not performed because no unused media
was available."

Luis

Hi,

Either u may be not inserting the new tape in the backup
drive or u may be not selecting the correct tape backup
date written on the tape.

Do one thing , after selecting the files and folders,
instead of scheduling click start backup. You will get a
msg from the system that the tape is not empty and the
date is so and so. Make a note of that date and select in
place of New Media. I hope it will solve the problem.
Regards,
Athar

Try adding the /um switch to the end of the actual scheduled command
that runs ntbackup.exe. This tells it to use whatever media is in the
drive.
