backspace won't erase highlibhted type

's Computer Specifications

Just happened - in Word and MS Outlook - if I highlight text and then hit the
backspace it will not erase - i have to hit delete - all other software is
fine

Also I get popups with CiceroUIWndFrameand the instruction of removing it
does not work in my add/remove

Please help - I have reinstalled all MS software

Reinstallation was completely unnecessary. Tools - Options - Edit tab.
Enable "Typing Replaces Selection".
