G~man, you will be able to use it on any computer but you will need to install drivers first

I'm out of bed and dressed, what more do you want?

I used to have an open mind but my brains kept falling out

One more step to enlightenment ... but which way ?

Hi,

I was backing up to IcyBox last night and when I saw it this morning, I realised it overheated. I switched if off, re-started after sometime and I still could not see the disk drive. I am thinking of leaving it off for longer time (morning til afternoon) and try again. Has anybody experienced something similar? How could I get the disk back (i.e. see my data again)? I hope I have not completely fried it up.

Thanks loads!

I have only backed up when my hard drive decided to start dying and I had to transfer data.

I will start when I get a working DVD player.

No need to answer my query. It just needed a bit of TLC (tender loving care). I blasted the airconditioner to full and cooled it down.

Cheers!
