Backing Up a Secure Database

I added security to my database and it seems to be working correctly. Before
the security I had been backing up the database regularly by cliking the
Back-up Database option on the file menu. I tried this after the security
was added and it created the file, but when I try to open it I get an error
message saying that I do not have access. I am the main administrator for
the database, so assumed I would access the back-up in the same way as the
original file. Do I need to be using a different process to back-up the
database now that it is secured? Thank you!

You either need to save the secure mdw file and join that workgroup, or use
a shortcut to get to it and your file. Read the security FAQ again for
specifics:
