Using Personal Folder Backup tool in Outlook 2003. Auto Backup was working
fine until beginning of last week, then it wouldn't work.
Backup command on File Menu is now missing. Have uninstalled and installed
again the Personal Folder backup tool twice, but it still isn't there. Need
to back up emails & contacts. Is there another way to do it before I
uninstall & reinstall outlook 2003?
Thanks, wisey

Close Outlook, rename outcmd.dat file (it's a hidden file so you will have to
search hidden files and folders), reopen Outlook. Let me know if that helps.

Hello Kathleen,
I have installed pfb tool on my sign on id. when my wife signs on and
enters outlook 2003 her file menu does not have the backup option. How do I
get both XP sign on id's to have Outlook PFB utility?

Thanks very much.

Have her log in, start Outlook, click Tools>Options>Other>Advanced
Options>COM Add-Ins, then click Add and browse to %ProgramFiles%\Microsoft
Office\Office11\Addins (it might be "Office10" instead), select outbak.dll,
and click OK. OK out of all dialogues, then stop and restart Outlook.
