Is there a way to back up my site to CD or DVD? Is it as simple as doing a copy? Everything I have read on this forum says you have to "publish" the site for it to be a true back up?

publishing the site (to a local folder) ensures that you get it all, that
is, the hidden folders and stuff plus it ensures you get fresh metadata.

HTH

PS you could make your CD "auto play" if you like with a couple of easy
additional steps.

Hi JJ Prescott,

If your web is not already disk based then publish to your HD and then copy to the CD.
