I accidentally selected "Microsoft Exchange Server" instead of "Pop3" when I
was setting up a new e-mail account, and now I don't seem to have the
information to get out of a loop I am in. When I open up Outlook it
immediately want's to configure my account asking for the Microsoft Exchange
Server and my mailbox. Since I don't know have an exchange server I can't
enter a valid name, and when I cancel out of that it closes down Outlook. I
can't find any way to access the Tools within Outlook to change the server
type.

Any help is appreciated.

Go into the Control Panel and use the mail applet to delete the Exchange
server account.
