I'm trying to have a background sound (in this case an
mp3 file) play without interruption on my website, but so
far I can only add it to the properties of an individual
page. Every time I click on a new page, the music
stops. How do I have this file active for the whole
sight (continuous loop without breaks)?

Why do you want to do this..? It is the fastest way known to alienate
visitors to your site and make certain they go elsewhere and never
return..!

You would have to load your site in a frameset or popup the sound file in
new window.
