My Background in Normal View is white with no color and when I go to Slide Show View it's Hot Pink like it was the last time I worked on it. Is there a setting to change to get my background to show up? Also, when I right click and try to change it....it won't let me.?.?.?

Hmmm. That's strange. Have you checked the Slide Master?

Show View it's Hot Pink like it was the last time I worked on it. Is there
a setting to change to get my background to show up? Also, when I right
click and try to change it....it won't let me.?.?.?

How did you change the background?
Is it hot pink on all slides, or only on some?
Which version of PPT are you using?
What do you mean by "right click and try to change it...it won't let me"?
What are you trying to access via the right-click? And can you please
clarify exactly what "won't let me" means? (Is the option greyed out, does
PPT crash when you click it, you get the idea.)

You might try adjusting your hardware acceleration, as this could be a
simple display issue. http://www.rdpslides.com/pptfaq/FAQ00129.htm Somehow,
though, I suspect it's something different, and your answers to the
questions above will help determine that.

If you are using MS OFFICE 2007 then SELECT VIEW MENU -> COLOR / GRAYSCALE -> CLICK COLOR.
