Background Music Fade

I have added CD music for background but find that the
audio fade works only for the audio captured on the video
not the additional audio I've imported is this ability
beyond the software? Please advise.

Hi,

MM2 should be able to fade audio whether captured, or
imported from a CD. Check your CD audio track after
importing to your timeline. It may have a few seconds of
silence at the end of the clip. If so, trim the audio
clip just after the actual sound ends. Then apply the
audio fade. It should work just fine.
