Using FP2000.

In "Table Properties" you can set a background image for a table. This
feature seems to be enabled only if you have Browser Compatibility set
to "MSIE only" in the Page Options.

How compatible is this with other (current) browsers, besides IE?

And, are there other issues if I set Browser Compatibility to "MSIE
only"?

Just set all browsers to custom. then it is up to you to learn which FP features are not well
supported. All current browsers should have no problem displaying it.
