The background colors on Web pages I've created don't show up in IE on my
computer. Also graphics that are supposed to be centered are in the wrong
place. The pages are fine on other people's computers. But they're not right
on mine. I need to update my business's Web site, and I'd really appreciate
some help with this.

Hi,
Check these settings:
Internet Options> General> Accessibility. For most users, nothing should be
checked.

Control Panel> Accessibility Options> Display. Make sure that High Contrast
is not checked. Also click on Settings and uncheck Use Shortcut. That will
disable the Alt+Shift+Print Screen shortcut to High Contrast.

Hope this helps,

Also from me!!!! I had sent already the same question to the newsgroup but did a
search in old postings. Still could retract my posting. Also I had installed
desktop google before. I would never never have found out that this switch has
to tbe turned around!! I have several stages of the installation as backups and
went back to the first pure xp+sp stage - the same white background. I spent
hours trying to find out.

Thank you thank you thank you! I've been trying to figure this out forever,
and I can't believe it was something so simple! I was so frustrated, but
never thought to go to the control panel because all of my other programs
looked okay so I thought it must be something to do with IE.
