the antispyware, when running and searching for spyware,
goes black in a small portion of it, in other words
instead of staying white it takes up the color i made my
desktop

The picture helps. I haven't seen this myself. I can't remember what
should be appearing in that window--a quickscan doesn't show anything there
at the moment on my system.

You may be reporting a bug that we haven't had reported previously in 5
months or so of testing--if so, congratulations, and thanks!

The information there is the file information of what is being scanned. Does
the issue go away if you make the background another color besides black?

Hmm--I tried to reproduce this tonight, but I'm not sure I'm doing a valid
test since nothing is found on my system. At any rate--I didn't see the
black rectangle, even with the desktop background set to black.
