Background & Quality Problems

Hi, I recently publish my first website and the quality
on other computers is dramaticly different (i.e. worse)
than on my main computer. Is there anything I can do
about this? I expect it might have something to do with
screen resolution. On other computers that I have used
to looked at the website, everything appears coarse.

I've also had problems getting one of my backgrounds to
show up. For my main frame I used a simple picture for
the background and it shows up on my computer but not on
others.

I'm using Frontpage 2002 & the site is hosted by
newbiesite.com

Any insight would be great!!!! Thank you!

Some quick tips for you. good job for your first site.

-replace spaces with underscore in all file names including pictures for
example:
ashley agility tire.gif to ashley_agility_tire.gif
-when putting pictures on the web, they don't have to be high quality, 692Kb
(picture named above) is really big for a picture, if you have an imaging
program, should reduce the quality. (otherwise it will take a long time to
load on a page)
-use web-safe colours, the defaulted colours in FP palette. This could be a
cause for it looking different on other monitors.
-where you have your text in the paw prints, set a font type to it such as
times, size 2. This will prevent the default setting of every individual
browser from sizing it to what viewable text size they have set. (Open your
site in Internet Explorer, go to View, Text Size, and choose the different
settings and you'll see what I'm talking about here)

Again, these are just some very basic and quick tips.
