Can anyone help please. on starting my computer, Norton
Antivirus 2003 tell me I have a backdoor.Trojan on my
system file. I can find it manually, but I cannot delete
it. However, when I run the full system scan, (with
daily live updates), Norton can find no problem. Am I
infected?

You'll need to turn-off System Restore, reboot, then turn it back on.
The virus has infected your System Restore folder (system volume information).

Thanks Carey, but that has not worked. the file is in
system 32 and is called d3dhod.dll. Sometimes I can see
it and sometime I cant, any other suggestions. Many
thanks, Bob.
