Backdoor sinit and svcinit.exe virus message

Norton says they cannot remove this from our computer:
Backdoor Sinit C:\\winnt\system32\svcinit.exe. Can
anyone tell me how to remove? I did the last worm patch
and searched for MSBLAST.EXE and nothing was found to
remove.
Is this worm related to the above virus message?
