I have Nortons full package, Ad-aware and Spybot and keep them updated. Yet I
recently got the Backdoor virus and can't get rid of it.

Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately when I go to delete the rregistry,
theitems it tells me to delete are not there. So the problem still exists.

Contact Symantec/Norton. I assume that you are paying for their service.
