Back-up problem - Help!

I tried to run my weekly back-up and was told that it failed
(Error0x81000008). I then ran an Advanced Restore of my files and folders.
Then I did a System Restore. I seemed to have gotten rid of the problem with
the back-up, but......I lost all of my e-mail and drafts from January 30th
(date of the last back-up used to restore) through today. I checked in the
recovered messages, etc. but the mail seems to have disappeared (I'm using
WLM). Please help - is there a way to "find" the lost e-mail? Thanks!
